Social Work

Field Instruction

Assist provides field instruction to master and bachelor level social work interns. An average of three hours per week per student is spent on field instructing, providing clinical supervision, reviewing process recordings, developing learning agreements, and completing semester evaluations. Additional hours may be needed depending on each intern and the agency.

Psychosocial Assessments and Referrals

Assist conducts psychosocial assessments on and recommends referrals to clients. Staff training is also available in these areas. The assessments include evaluating psychosocial factors that impact a client's living situation, physical and mental health status, education, and employment.

Support Group Sessions

Assist conducts support group sessions for your agency. Staff training is also available in these areas.

Clinical Supervision

Assist provides clinical supervision to direct social service staff. This is an important service for staff to process difficult cases and issues that may arise while providing social services. Unresolved issues that clients trigger may affect service delivery. Clinical supervision for licensing hours is currently unavailable, yet we provide referrals to licensed clinicians.

Mission Statement
